Description
The Science:
The spray uses rapid evaporation technology to draw heat away from the skin, reducing skin temperature and calming redness. The spray is alcohol based, as the alcohol evaporates off the skin heat and redness are drawn out, gently calming and reducing body temperature.
Tried & Tested:
Promensil Cooling Spray is suitable for all women going through the menopause who are experiencing hot flushes and night sweats. In a recent independent study 9 out of 10 women reported that the Cooling Spray significantly reduced their hot flush symptoms.
Directions of Use
During a hot flush or night sweat lightly spray the chest and neck area. Allow spray to evaporate and cool. For best results leave skin uncovered. Re-apply as needed.
Cautions:
For external use only. Do not use on broken skin. Use throughout menopause. Do not apply to eyes or mouth. Close eyes if using spray to cool the face. If swallowed or in contact with eyes seek medical assistance immediately.
How it Works
The spray works by drawing heat away from the skin using evaporation technology to reduce skin temperature and calming redness.
Most sprays trick the skin into a sensation of cold and use an aerosol to force a water mix onto the skin thus giving a heightened feeling of being cold (instant action, instant finish).
Promensil Cooling Spray uses proven technology to remove the heat by using evaporation, it works by drawing the heat away from the skin, not trying to drive the cold in. Results can last up to 3 hours.
Key Actives:
Ethanol – On application it provides a local cooling effect of the skin surface and underlying tissues through evaporation.
Glycerine – A humectant, which can aid protection of the skin by helping to attract moisture and thereby keeping the skin moisturised and feeling smooth.
Menthol – An organic compound with a characteristic minty aroma. Through its cooling sensation it can help the skin to feel both soothed and invigorated.
Peppermint Oil – A member of the mint family, which has been used for thousands of years for its beneficial properties. As an aromatherapy oil it can help to relieve anxiety and when applied to the skin it can promote cooling.

I absolutely love this product, I suffer terribly with temperature fluctuations even when the weather is freezing I am hot. This spray quickly cools down hot skin, I use it mainly on my neck and chest area and on my feet (especially when flying, it’s always in my hand luggage). Instant and long lasting relief. Amazing!
Christine Crawford –
This spray is both cooling and energising. The spray invigorates whilst taking away the flushing surge, which can make you feel drained.
Lisa –
This spray works really well especially if you spray as soon as you feel the hot flush coming on. I spray my face and neck. Can be a little bit stingy on the eyes if you spray too close. The reason I haven’t given five stars is because the pump can be a little stiff to use.
